RECRUITMENT AND SELECTION


Supported by experienced and professional recruitment team, we are confident to provide qualified, experienced and dedicated Indonesian Seafarer, Hospitality Staff, Fishing Crew & Seafood Processor in order to support our Principal’s business operations and activities. We welcome our Principal to do direct interview in our Jakarta and Bali offices or through video call on Skype/phone with our seafarer/staff/worker prior to employment approval.
We maintain a stringent recruitment procedure with multi-layered interviews as follows :

SEAFARER

  • Pass verification on certificates and previous job experiences Checking the authenticity and validity of certificates through online website and the authenticity of job experiences based on the sea service record on seaman’s book and any reference from previous employer
  • Pass the oral and written Competency and English tests conducted by our Assessor
  • Pass the online Crew Evaluation System (CES) Test with minimum score of 72% for Officer and 62% for Rating
  • Pass the online Marlins English Test with minimum score of 82% for Senior Officer, 72% for Junior Officer and 64% for Rating

HOSPITALITY STAFF

  • Pass verification on certificate and previous job experiences Checking the authenticity of job experiences based on a reference from previous employer
  • Pass the oral and written Competency and English tests conducted by our Assessor
  • Pass the online Marlins English Test with minimum score of 82%-for cruise ship crew only

FISHING CREW AND SEAFOOD PROCESSOR

  • Pass verification on certificate and previous job experiences Checking the authenticity of job experiences based on a reference from previous employer
  • Pass the oral and written Competency and English tests conducted by our Assessor

Pre-employment and Pre-departure Arrangement



  • Medical Examination, as according to ILO and ship’s flag requirements, including Drug and Alcohol tests, conducted at the approved and accredited Medical Practitioner
  • Training and Briefing, every seafarer/staff/worker shall undergo the training relevant to his rank/position and attend pre-joining orientation briefing for explanation on contract terms,  jobs, company’s policy and regulations
  • Seafarer Employment Agreement (SEA) or Contract of Employment
  • Managing Seafarer Documentation-for Seafarer only
  • Arrangement of Flag State Documents-for Seafarer only
  • Provision of Working Gear (PPE) -for Seafarer only
  • Travel and Visa Arrangement, such as: US C1D visa, Schengen visa, visa for Asia and Gulf countries, etc, including the Working Visa and Work Permit Arrangement for Hospitality Staff and Seafood Processor for onshore jobs in Hotel, Restaurant, Café, Seafood Processing Plant, etc 
  • Air Ticket (if required)
  • Mobilization and Airport Handling
  • Coordination with agent at port of joining for seafarer sign on/off arrangement

Crew Management



  • Crew Planning; We identify requirement for seafarer/staff/worker change by monitoring the employment contract and monitor the status of ex-crewmembers and their certificate requirements during leave/vacation for the purpose of crew rotation (sign on/off arrangement) 
  • Retention Rate; We maintain 80% retention rate for the past five years. This has been achieved through having proper recruitment, remuneration, continual training and performance appraisal systems in place
  • Medical Insurance and Claim; P & I Insurance, seafarer accident insurance, medical/sickness pay
  • Crew Supervision; Regular visits on board, performance evaluation, efficiency supervision
  • Payroll Service; We are able to arrange the payment or distribution of salaries, including seniority and performance bonus and bank charges
